Greetings readers,
It is mid-October, which means Gamehole Con is here, and I’m in Madison, Wisconsin seeking fun and wisdom from the hobby gaming industry!
Second year waltzing in with a Press Pass, I plan to bring you a showcase of some of the ongoing on this years TTRPG convention; curiosities, encounters, fun stuff, advice from panels, whatever strikes the fancy of one Substack writer!
Expect either a few more smaller updates, or an additional weekend roundup covering what things stood out at the con!
If you went onto the Chaotican Writer main site, you might have noticed a new message stating a rebrand and rebuild! … There’s a lot of work that is about to happen to the platform, but the short version is this;
I’m scrapping CW, and becoming a TTRPG game publisher! (+ TTRPG blog)
CW has always been intended to be a stepping stone to something bigger. What started as an author platform is now becoming a press company with direct participation in the RPG hobby gaming industry!
I plan to stick to my world building and story-building roots. How I plan to build the new platform, arrange the previous content, and roll out the new is being developed as we speak.
Finally, Dungeon Delve is not going anywhere! … This weekly outlet has been SUPER helpful in communicating with the RPG community at large, and contributing something valuable to gamers and enthusiasts! I will continue to provide round-up and TTRPG content on a regular basis!
