I. Foreward

Colorful tents. Thrilling rides. Cotton candy. Corndogs. The sound of machines whirring, children laughing, and jovial jingles mixed with pop and rock music. The smell of deep fried deliciousness with the slight hint of diesel fumes. Families roaming from stall to stall, groups of teens laughing and joking, couples wrapped a timely romance, and sun-bathed engineers fresh from their RV yet still recovering from a hangover.

The carnival is in town, my friends! … I’m delighted to host July 2025’s RPG Blog Carnival RPG Blog Carnival, an internet ritual where once a month, one blogger challenges the community with a new topic! … This month, I am hosting the poly-topic of “Improv, Roleplaying, and Warm-Ups”.

If you are a writer, thinker, or designer from ‘round the TTRPG blogosphere, YOU can submit YOUR blog post to the challenge, in which you will be included in the end-of-month roundup, and celebrated as a carnival hero!

This is truly a brilliant thing our scrappy blogging community does. There has been some AMAZING content that has come out of this in prior months, and I implore you to go on a link deep-dive and content binge to uncover some great pieces of writing, and discover some new people you like to read!

And hats off to The Robgoblin, host of Junes carnival (Magic Shops).

My formal apologies for those who were expecting an issue last week, and those who noticed that I started submitting on Wednesdays as opposed to my prior Tuesdays. … Rounding up this amazing content is a time investment, and I’m just happy to have the opportunity to deliver some great finds to my valiant, faithful, and frankly… good-lookin’ readers such as yourself!

I can’t see you, but y’know it. Strut those shoulders, you beautiful beasts you!

Lets begin the linky round-up!
